| 1 c | brown sugar |
| 1 c | crisco shortening |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 1 1/2 c | all purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 3 c | oatmeal, uncooked quaker oats old fashion cooking oatmeal |

My grandmother I would make these at least 3 times a week when I was a little girl, my grandfather loved them so always had to have then in cookie jar. Lord how I miss my Grandma.
Directions
Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes a batch.
