1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt

3 c oatmeal, uncooked quaker oats old fashion cooking oatmeal

My grandmother I would make these at least 3 times a week when I was a little girl, my grandfather loved them so always had to have then in cookie jar. Lord how I miss my Grandma.

Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes a batch.

love this recipe twicked it a bit use unsweetened applesauce and 1/2 the sugar.. more heart heathly for me and my hubby...
