Grandma Jennie's Sugar Cookies

Chris Harwood - I have this in Grandma Jennie's handwriting with a note "these are good for Leia to eat". If you want a soft cookie roll them out thicker, for crisp, thin.

Serves:
4-6 doz cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
cream or canned milk
1 tsp
vanilla
3 c
flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
maragarine
1/2 tsp
lemon extract
1/2 tsp
soda
2
eggs

Step-By-Step

1Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs and cream, add flavors.
2Mix in flour, salt and soda. Stir.
3Chill and roll. Cut in the shapes you like.
4Place on ungreased cookie sheet, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-9 minutes. They burn real easy, so watch carefully.
