Ingredients For golden pineapple parfaits

16golden double stuf oreo cookies

1 1/4 cmilk
-
1 - 8 oz canpineapple chunks, drained & juice reserved

1 sm pkginstant french vanilla pudding mix, dry

1/4 cmaraschino cherry juice

1 1/2 ccool whip free
-
8maraschino cherries with stem
How To Make golden pineapple parfaits

1Coarsley chop 8 cookies; set aside. Reserve 8 remaining whole cookies for garnish.

2Pour milk & reserved pineapple juice into medium bowl; add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Stir in pineapple chunks.

3Stir cherry juice into whipped topping with wire whisk just until blended; do not overmix.

4Spoon 1/2 the chopped cookies into 8 parfait glasses or dessert dishes. Top each with 1 tbsp whipped topping mixture & 2 tbsp pudding. Repeat layers. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve topped with remaining whipped topping, whole cookies & maraschino cherries.
