My good friend Ann Morgan introduced these wonderful cookies to me in the 70's. We were at her house studying for a test we had to take for our job at the bank. I don't remember what the test was about but I do remember these cookies!
1Cream butter and 1 ½ cups sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy. In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients except for cinnamon and 2 Tbsp. Sugar. Add the dry ingredients to butter and sugar mixture; mix well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2Mix 2 tsp. Cinnamon with 2 Tbsp. Sugar in a small bowl. Roll refrigerated cookie dough into 2-inch balls. Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture; place on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350? for 12 to 15 minutes.
