If you like chocolate and want to pretend to be healthy try these. They are delicious and a hit with kids and grown ups too.

* More chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or nuts can be added too.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1 c
butter or margarine, softened

egg
1 tsp
vanilla
1 1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/3 c
cocoa powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
3 c
uncooked quick cooking oats
6 oz
semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Cream together margarine or butter & sugar. Stir in the egg & vanilla. Add dry ingredients (oats & chocolate chips last) and mix throughly.

Drop teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet & bake for 10-12 minutes.
