Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Crinkles

This is a combination of everything I aim for in a cookie: chewy, vegan, chocolate and easy! In an effort to please my non-vegan cookie lovers, I added Nutella ;)

Ingredients

1/2 c
canola or olive oil
1 c
sugar
1/4 c
maple syrup
3 Tbsp
almond milk or half and half
2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 c
cocoa powder, dark or unsweetened
1/4 c
nutella or dairy free cocoa spread, melted
1 tsp
cornstarch
1 tsp
baking soda
2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
raw course sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine first 6 ingredients until uniform and consistent color and texture.

Microwave nutella (or chocolate spread of choice) and mix. Mix in cinnamon.

Add cornstarch and baking soda to wet mix. Add flour and mix until all one color (brown).

Scoop golf ball size portions and roll in sugar. Place on baking sheet and bake for 10 min. Will be soft when taken out but do not over bake.
