These are from a magazine clipping, but I don't know which one. These cookies are not too sweet but very chocolatey.

Ingredients For chocolate-coconut cookies

1 cansweetened condensed milk

3 oz(3 squares) unsweetened chocolate

2 cshredded coconut

1 cpecan pieces

1 tspvanilla extract

1 dashsalt
How To Make chocolate-coconut cookies

1Preheat oven to 300°F. Grease cookie sheets heavily.

2In top of double boiler, over simmering water, heat milk and chocolate, until chocolate melts. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by level teaspoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart, on prepared cookie sheets.

3Bake about 15 minutes, making sure that the bottoms don't burn. They should be slightly firm and dry to touch. Makes 40 cookies. One cookie is 99 cal, 6 g fat, 5 g chol, 11 g carb, 2 g protein.
