Kelly's Notes:

I came up with this version incorporating some of my favorite ingredients! Tastes even better than Chunky Candybars! I HAVE to give a lot of these away at Christmastime, otherwise I could eat them ALL. :/ A fantastic, quick and easy addition to your holiday cookie tray.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Photo by me. In my pic, they are bottom right. (The chocolate ones.)

Directions

1
Nuke chips til melted, stirring once through.
Stir in rest of ingredients, and drop onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet by tablespoons, mounding a bit to form little "haystacks".
Chill til set.
While chocolate is still wet, you can sprinkle them as you go along with small candy sprinkles if desired to add color and fun for a holiday.

can pretzels be used instead of nuts? Our cookie exchange sends trays of goodies to Children's Hospital every holiday season and I don't want to have to worry about nut allergies. Thanks!

Sure! I would coarse crush (break them up into small pieces) first. :D Could even add M&M's if you think the kids would like that! :D (So, shoestring potato chips, pretzel pieces, raisins and M&M's!) Sounds good to me! :D

No trouble at all, Regina! And it's so very nice of you to make things for the kids! I hate being in the hospital and I'm an adult, I can't imagine how awful (and scary) it must be for a child. :( I'm whatever you bring will cheer them up! :D

Philadelphia has a Ronald McDonald House where the families stay when their children are in CHOP and they live far away. So we try to make the holidays as special as they can be in that situation. It's really not much, but it makes them happy. And who doesn't love cookies??? lol
