Ingredients For caramel-cashew cake bars

3/4 call purpose flour

1/2 csugar

1/2 cpacked brown sugar

1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspsalt

2eggs
-
1/2 csalted cashews, chopped
- FOR THE CASHEW TOPPING

1/2 csalted cashews, chopped
-
1/4 cpacked brown sugar
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted
-
4 1/2 tspheavy whipping cream
How To Make caramel-cashew cake bars

1In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugars, baking powder and salt. Beat in the eggs just until combined. Fold in the cashews. Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.

2In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients. Spread over cake. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned. Cut into bars while warm. Cool on a wire rack.
