Ingredients

1 c all-purpose flour
1/3 c cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
8 Tbsp butter, softened
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 lg egg at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, cut into 1/4" chunks
6 oz white chocoalte, cut into 1/4" chunks
1/3 c pecans, coarsely chopped

These cookies are moist & delicious and definitely appeal to all lovers of chocolate.

There is chocolate and then there is CHOCOLATE! These cookies are pure awesome... You can't eat just one.

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.

In small bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

In large bowl, using electric mixer at low speed, beat butter 30 seconds or until creamy.

Add both sugars gradually; beat at medium speed 2 minutes until fluffy.

Beat in egg and vanilla. Using spoon, add to flour mixture.

Add chocolate chunks and pecans; stir until combined.

Drop by tablespoonsful onto cookie sheets.

Leave 1" between cookies.

Bake 10-15 minutes until cookies are puffed and lightly browned at edges.

Cool cookies on sheets 5 minutes before serving.
