|2 c||all purpose flour|
|1 tsp||baking soda|
|1/2 c||light brown sugar|
|1/2 c||granulated sugar|
|1/2 c||heath english toffee bits|
|1 tsp||vanilla ext.|
|1/2 c||semi-sweet chocolate chips|
|1/2 c||semi-sweet white chocolate chips|
|1 c||sliced almonds|
|1/2 c||semi-sweet white chocolate chips for top|

I remember having blonde brownies for the first time when I was in high school and loved them so much that I came up with this recipe which seems pretty close to the taste I remembered.
In medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, & salt.
Using mixer.... cream butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, & heath bits. Add eggs, vanilla, & continue mixing until smooth. Add flour, baking soda & salt mixture a little at the time & continue mixing until well blended.
Add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, almonds, and mix well. Spray 9" X 13" pan or coat with butter. Spread mixture in pan & top with remaining white chips. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25-30 min.
