Biscotti Regina (Italian Sesame Seed Cookies)

- 4 c
- all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp
- baking powder
- 1/2 tsp
- 2 stick
- butter, room temperature
- 1-2 c
- 1 tsp
- vanilla extract
- 1 c
- heavy cream
- 2 c
- sesame seeds
1Preheat oven to 350.
2Combine flour, baking powder & salt in small bowl & set aside.
3Cream butter & sugar until fluffy.
4Add eggs one at a time with mixer running until smooth.
5Add vanilla & beat in.
6Next add flour mixture & beat until well mixed.
7To form cookies, divide dough in half and roll into logs. Cut into 3 inch lengths.
8Dip each piece of dough into cream & roll into sesame seeds.
9Place cookies on baking sheet & bake til golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
10Let cool & serve.
11They will keep in airtight container for about 2 weeks.
