my mom used to bake these for us when were little and they are still good as ever

whole wheat flour

1preheat oven to 350. in a large mixing bowl, combine oil, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. beat ingredients until well mixed.
2in a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. add to oil mixture and stir until just combined.
3stir in rolled oats, coconut, cherries, cranberries, almonds and chocolate chips. mix well.
4form dough into 1 inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on nonstick cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. flatten slightly with fork. bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
5cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
