A terrific all-purpose dough that can be turned into a variety of cookies; rolled, dropped, and shaped.

Ingredients

3 1/3 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1 c
(2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temp.
1 c
granulated sugar
1/2 c
dark brown sugar (packed)

eggs
1 tsp
vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar in seperate bowl, and beat with a mixer until well combines. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Gradually add flour mixture and beat until evenly blended. Dough can be wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated up to 3 days.
