one package yellow cake mix, 18.25 ounces
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup melted butter
three large eggs, divided
one package cream cheese, softened, 8 ounces
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup chopped braeburn apples

Apples and cream cheese in a scrumptious bar.

 

Directions

preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 13 x 9" baking pan with nonstick baking spray with flour.
In a medium bowl, mix cake mix, pecans, melted butter, and one egg, stirring well. Press into bottom of prepared pan.

In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and remaining two eggs. Beat at medium speed with mixer until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth. Add apples, stirring to mix. spoon over cake mixture. Bake for 50 minutes. Reduce Temperature to 300° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer or until set in the center. Cool completely. Cut into 24 squares. Makes 24 servings

Hey, thanks, ladies. I was a bit concerned about the time on these, but that's what the directions said. Any ideas?

Lynnda I would bake it at 325^ for 55 minutes..then chill for 4 or more hours.
