Ingredients
| 1/2 c | crisco |
| 1/2 c | peanut butter |
| 1/4 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 c | sugar |
| 1/2 c | brown sugar, firmly packed |
| 1 lg | egg, beaten |
| 1 1/2 tsp | milk |
| 1 c | flour |
| 1/4 tsp | baking soda |

Directions
combine crisco, peanut butter & salt. Mix well. Gradually add both sugars, Cream well after each addition. Add egg & milk. Mix well.Sift together flour & baking soda then blend with first mixture. Roll into balls about 3/4 inches in diameter or so. place on cookie sheet. Press with fork to flatten.Bake @ 325 for 12 minutes.

@ Freda - I like to make mine larger than the normal peanut butter cookies and it makes about a dozen but it just depends on how big you make them.
@ Lisa - I'm sure you probably could substitute with the self rising flour. I'm all the time substituting items if I don't have an ingredient in my pantry... lol - that is what makes cooking so much fun!!! lol
