Rich Chocolate Pudding (microwave version)
squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
cherries or other berries
Stir sugar and cornstarch together in a 1-quart glass measure.
Gradually stir in milk until blended. Add chopped chocolate.
Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH power for 5 minutes.
Whisk thoroughly to blend chocolate.
Microwave at HIGH power until boiling and thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in vanilla and salt. Pour into 4 custard cups. Let stand until cooled.
