I recently had the original version @ IHOP & it was the bomb! Until I found out how many calories it has....1,240! Wow! Now here is the low fat version....320. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! I can't wait to try them! You can even make this for a dessert too!

Ingredients For hg version of ihop tiramisu pancakes

  • FILLING:
  • 1 pkg
    60 calorie sugar free chocolate pudding cup
  • 1 tsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    instant coffee powder
  • PANCAKES:
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 dash
    salt
  • 1 x lg
    egg
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 tsp
    chocolate syrup, light
  • 2 Tbsp
    redi whip, fat free
  • 1/4 tsp
    cocoa powder, unsweetened

How To Make hg version of ihop tiramisu pancakes

    FILLING: Spoon pudding into a small microwave-safe bowl. Add brown sugar & coffee granules & vigorously stir until coffee granules have dissolved.

    PANCAKE BATTER: Combine flour, baking powder, sugar & salt in a medium bowl. Add egg & 1/3 C water. Stir until smooth.

    Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium heat. Add 1/3rd of the batter to form a pancake. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes, until pancake begins to bubble & is solid enough to flip. Gently flip & cook for 1 - 2 minutes, until lightly browned & cooked through.

    Repeat with remaining batter to make two more pancakes, removing skillet from heat & re-spraying each time.

    Microwave filling until warm, about 15 seconds. Evenly spread 1 pancake with 1/2 of the filling. Top with another pancake & spread with remaining filling. Top with the third pancake.

    Drizzle with chocolate syrup, top with Reddi-wip, & sprinkle with cocoa powder. Enjoy!

    NOTE: The normal recipe calls for 1/2 the pudding cup (I figure - why waste it), whole wheat flour, 2 splenda packets & 1/4 C egg substitute - which I don't use. Points are figured using those.
