sherry's Notes:

These are so delicious and easy to make.

Directions

1
In small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa and water until smooth.
2
In lg saucpan, heat 1" of oil over high heat until hot, but not smoking. Separate biscuits. Using a sharp knife, cut out a small circle in the center of each biscuit, to form doughnut shapes.
3
Cook doughnuts and holes in hot oil for about 1 min per side. Drain on paper towels. While still warm, dip doughnuts and doughnut holes into glaze mix.

Sitting here laughing so dang hard I can barely see. When my sister and I were little girls this is exactly how Mother made donuts for us. She would save the 'holes' to put in our school lunch boxes. Always a fun treat. Brought back many happy memories. I, in turn, made them for my children. Amazing all the different toppings you can come up with. The kids loved my lemon glaze. A winner for sure. CHEERS, CC
