Ingredients For crock pot extreme hot chocolate

  • 12 oz can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c
    instant nonfat dry milk
  • 4 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3 c
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 - 11 oz pkg
    bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 - 12 oz pkg
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 - 10 oz pkg
    large marshmallows
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c
    kahlua coffee liqueur (optional)

How To Make crock pot extreme hot chocolate

    Whisk together condensed milk, dry milk in a 4 qt crock pot until smooth. Whisk in milk, cream & salt. Add chocolate chips. Cover & cook on LOW 4 hours, whisking until smooth after 2 hours.

    Preheat broiler with oven rack 3" from heat. Place 12 marshmallows on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or just until toasted. Repeat procedure with desired amount of marshmallows.

    Stir vanilla into hot chocolate & ladle into mugs. Stir 1 tbsp kahlua into each mug, if desired & top each serving with 2 toasted marshmallows.
