Chocolate Syrup Brownies (oven version)

These tempting chocolate brownies have a mild chocolate flavor. They are very easy to prepare, yet specially delicious.

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter
1 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 dash(es)
salt
1 c
all purpose flour
3/4 c
chocolate-flavored syrup, canned
2 tsp
vanilla extract
3/4 c
chopped walnuts or pecans

GARNISH

pecans or walnuts
powdered sugar

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs until very creamy and well blended.
3Add salt.
4Stir in flour, mixing to blend well.
5Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.
6Turn mixture into well greased and lightly floured 9-inch square pan.
7Smooth top.
8Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
9Cool in pan on wire rack but loosen cake at edges.
10Cut into squares.
11Garnish with pecan or walnut halves or dust with powdered sugar.
