Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the stick of butter in a 13 X 9-inch glass baking dish.
In a bowl, mix the 1 c. plus 2 T. sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk. Pour this batter over the butter in baking dish, but do NOT stir.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa and remaining 1 cup of sugar.
Sprinkle the cocoa/sugar mixture over the batter. Again, do NOT stir.
Pour the 2 cups of boiling water on top of the cocoa/sugar (do not stir).
Bake for about 30-45 minutes.

    This looks like a recipe I used to make which made like a gooey pudding underneath, am I correct ? and if so it is soo good.

    Sorry, no pudding underneath. But I'll bet it would be great with it. I might give it a try next time I make it. Thanks!

    Sorry I thought I was on another recipe. This recipe DOES indeed make a gooey pudding. It so very easy to make also.
    Again, I apologize for the error...I try to do too many things at one time...LOL!
