Chocolate Cheese Dessert

My mom has been making this for years. I love the whole thing, but my favorite part is the crust. It smells wonderful while it is baking.... yum!

This pic does not do it justice, but I just wanted to see if I could post a pic on here. I did it!!!!!!!

Ingredients

CRUST

2 stick
melted butter
2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
finely chopped pecans

FIRST LAYER

1
8-ounce container cool whip
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 c
sugar

SECOND LAYER

1 large
box instant chocolate pudding mix

LAST LAYER

1
8-ounce container cool whip
chopped pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix crust ingredients together with a fork and press into 9x13 glass baking dish (bottom, not sides). Bake at 375* for 25 minutes. Cool completely.

First layer: Mix all ingredients together with a mixer. Spread on cooled crust.

Second layer: Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Pour on top of cheese layer. Put in fridge for 15 minutes to let pudding set up.

Last layer: Spread 2nd container of cool whip on chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans. Chill for at least a couple of hours, if not more, before serving.
