I saw this recipe on the Taste of Home website and just happened to have all of the ingredients so thought I would give it a try. I tweaked it just a bit to add my own touch. I love this recipe and so did the young girls in my Wednesday night class at church. One little girl would not leave the class until I had written the recipe down for her!
Lightly crush corn chips in large bowl and add the peanuts. Place half of the mixture in a 13 x 9" pan.
In medium saucepan heat corn syrup and sugar to boiling. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Mix until well blended. Drizzle half of this mixture into the 13 x 9" pan over the chips and peanuts. Pour the remaining mixture in the corn chips and peanuts left in the bowl and mix. Put this on top of the corn chips in the 13 x 9 pan and press lightly.
Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over candy. Let set until chocolate has firmed. Cut and enjoy!
