Mom learned to make these candies from her best friend, Lela. We had to have them every Christmas once we had tasted them.

Ingredients

2 c
peanut butter
1 pkg
(12 ounces) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 pkg
(11-12 ounces) butterscotch chips
1 tsp
vegetable oil
3 c
canned shoestring potatoes

Directions Step-By-Step

In a medium sauce pan at medium heat, combine peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chops. Stir constantly until all are melted and combined well. Stir in oil. Remove from heat and stir in shoestring potatoes.

Drop candy by teaspoons full onto waxed paper or parchment paper covered cookie sheets. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until set.
