No Bake Twix Bars

This one is delish and very rich. I wish I could remember where I got this one, as soon as I do I will post where credit is due. This one is huge hit wherever I take it


1 box
club crackers ( not ritz)
1 cup graham crackers crushed
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup marg or butter

2/3 cup peanut butter
1 cups milk chocolate chips ( can use semi sweet if thats what you have on hand

Directions Step-By-Step

Lay a layer of club crackers on the bottom of a 13x9 pan,I usually get about 2 dozen to fit
Add all ingredients (EXCEPT THE CLUB CRACKERSS) to a saucepan on top of stove bring to a boil stiring constantly for about 3-5 minutes
very quickly add the mix to the layer of club crackers and very quickly add another layer of club crackers on top and push down slightly.. THIS IS VERY HOT BE CAREFUL
Put in frige to chill for about 30-45 min
Start the frosting by mixing the peanutbutter, and chocolate chips and put in microwave for about 2-3 minutes,I take out in 1 minute intervals keeping an ey on the chocolate.. you just want to melt enough for the peanut butter and chocolate is spreadable
Spread the frosting over the crackers and firm cut into bars

    We make this one too and I haven't got a clue where I got the recipe either. We call it the Surprise cracker bars! LOL

    I've noticed when I make this one.. it's best to use the keebler or best brand of crackers.. for some reason when I use the off brands they are not as crispy...

    I did like these very much, however, by the third day they had kind of sugared and weren't as good as on day 1 and 2.
