make this at christmas time for family gatherings. husband one year bought different colored marshmallows and it turned out just great. without the icing tastes great also enjoy.

Ingredients

3/4 c
butter, softened
1 1/2 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
cocoa powder

eggs
1 1/2 c
self rising flour
1 1/2 c
chopped nuts
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 61/4 oz
package miniature marshmallows

ICING

4 Tbsp
butter
1 16 oz
boxof confectioners sugar
4 Tbsp
cocoa powder
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/3 c
milk

Directions Step-By-Step

cream butter, sugar and cocoa. add eggs one at a time, beating well after each additiobn. add flour, nuts n vanilla and mix well. put batter in a greased and floured 13x9x2inch pan. bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. remove from oven and immediatey put teh marshmallows on the hot cake.

icing. cream butter throughly. add sugar and cocoa and beat well. add vanilla and milk. spread icing on warm cake cool cake several hours before cuting. also great without the icing. colored marshmallows good also. hope you enjoy.
