Nancy J.'s Story

4 years ago I worked the Christmas season at See's Candy Store.
I was the greeter, passing out candy, etc.
When the season was over I was given the SEES's Book, with two pages signed by my co-workers.
Also the recipe by the manager for Fudge made with the Famous SEE's semi-sweet CHOCOLATE CHIPS!
I have seen a few recipes claiming to be the SEE"s Recipe.
But it not SEE's unless you use SEE'S CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
It really makes a difference.!!

Ingredients

4-1/2 c
sugar
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
16 oz
semi-sweet see's chocolate chips 16 oz.
1/2 c
butter
2 tsp
vanilla
8 oz
marshmallow creme
dash salt
walnuts

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a saucepan stir together sugar and evaporated milk, bring to a boil for exactly 7 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add chocolate chips, butter, vanilla, marshmallow creme, and salt.
Stir till all melts.
Add walnuts if desired.
Pour into a buttered 13X9 inch pan.
Cool in refrigerator over night.
Cut into desired squares....and enjoy!
This makes 5 lbs.

Hi,
I would love to try your recipe for gooey
Brownies. Would you please share this recipe, please? I live in Idaho and we do not have a Sees candy store. We really miss having all of the scrumptous Sees candies.
Thanking you in advance for this recipe as well as any of the other wonderful Sees recipes that you are willing to share. Oh what I would do for Sees candy....Diana in Grangeville, Idaho.

Nancy, i plan on making this fudge but I need to know if the milk is the small can or the big can of evaporated milk? I am thinking small but need to make sure. My hubby is going to just love me when I hand him some of these goodies!! His excuse for eating chocolate is that he read its good for him.. but at times he takes it to the extreme! LOL
