just's Notes:

lemon desserts are not just for spring and summer!! this is DELISH!! And pretty easy too!!

Directions

1
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour batter into 13x9 pan.
2
Pour milk and water into a large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes and sugar. Beat with wire whisk until well blended. Pour pudding mixture over cake batter. Put the baking dish on a cookie sheet...this bubbles up!!
3
Bake 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 20 min. Sprinkle with powder sugar. Serve warm!! Also can eat cooled...the sauce turns from saucy to custardy like!! YUMMM

i made it Sunday and took it to work....they LOVED IT!! Very moist and delish...a co-worker of mine loves lemon and said she would like to try it with a lemon cake mix instead of the yellow cake mix...she loves her lemons!! i think it would be too lemony that way, but if you love lemon on lemon, it would be great

This sounds really delicious, but need to know if the pudding mixes re the small or large size. I am inclined to say small but would like to make sure. Thanks.

i used 2 small boxes of the cook and serve (i like cook and serve better than instant) mind you that the lemon cook kind takes egg yolks so you will need eggs for that.

made the original version first, hubbs loved it (of course he loves anything lemon) but tonight I am substituting the yellow cake mix and lemon puddings with Chocolate fudge cake mix and chocolate fudge pudding... with chocolate chips sprinkled over top instead of powdered sugar.... yeah, I know, kill em with richness....... chocolate overdose.....
