Wade's Favorite Pound Cake

When my son, Wade, was a little boy back some 30 years ago, this was his favorite cake. I could make it in just a few minutes and he loved it. He often wanted to give these cakes to his teachers for Christmas!

Ingredients

1 box
duncan hines yellow cake mix
3/4 c
wesson oil
4 large
eggs
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
8 oz
sour cream

Step-By-Step

1Place all ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat 3 minutes with electric mixer until smooth.
2Pour into a bundt pan that has been buttered and floured.
3Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.
4When top is golden brown, remove from oven and let cool 10 min. in pan on a rack.
5Remove cake from cake pan and let cool completely on rack. Place on cake plate and dust lightly with confectioner's sugar.
