Gail's Story

I got this recipe from a Southern Living cookbook when I was a teenager. It was called "Virginia Brownies" and is super easy to make. When I changed the frosting and made it out of powdered sugar my co-workers dubbed them "Treadmill Worthy Brownies." Great with either frosting, buttercream or fudge.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
These brownies have some seriously good chocolate flavor. Definitely worth a spin on the treadmill!

Next time, I will add the other cup of sugar needed! oops! No matter, because 1/2 is gone; Peanut Butter & Ice Cream make it very delectable!
