This recipe was on the back of a bag of mini morsels years ago,I've kept it and made it over the years. My boys love it.
I save a handful of flour (after measuring) to add with the addition of the mini morsels, that way they don't sink to the bottom of the cake. Doesn't matter, they eat it any way.

pinch tips: Basic Knife Skills

1/4 c butter,softened
2 t. sugar
2/3 c finely chopped nuts
2 3/4 c flour
2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. vinegar
whole milk
1 c butter,softened
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
4 eggs
12-oz pkg. (2 c) nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 375 deg.
In small bowl, combine 1/4 c butter,2 T sugar and nuts; mix until crumbly. Spoon into well-greased and floured 10" fluted tube pan. Chill while you prepare cake batter.

In large mixer bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla;beat at medium speed until light and fluffy (about 3-5 mins) Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Turn mixer to low. You have no idea how much I love this recipe. I had it for years, but when I moved to Buenos Aires I threw it out thinking I could find it on the web. It took me almost 10 years to find it.

Since that time I have been diagnosed as a celiac. I make this cake with part white rice flour and part corn starch. I also add a little more than 2 t of xanthun gum. Thank you again!!
