My soon to be sister in law gave me the base of this recipe and I changed some things with it and we like it more after the changes.

I was so afraid that I had lost this recipe!!!!!! Cooking after-church dinner for some friends tomorrow, and wanted to bake these tonight...but I have so many recipes saved on my computer that I was sure I had it on file. I was almost in despair, but then I thought...maybe on Just a Pinch! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I havent made them in a couple years but every time I ever have, compliments galore followed.

This was SUPER easy to make and was a smash hit at Easter dinner. I found that if served hot it was a little too brown sugary sweet to be served with dinner. If you are having it for dessert or with coffee, warm is the way to go. If you plan on serving it with dinner I would let it sit until it's just a tad above room temperature so it has more of a bread consistency. Either way...... it's a keeper!

This is a wonderful recipe. My girlfriends could not stop eating it and demanded the recipe which I was happy to share. I'm making it for my book club meeting. Thank you!

Quick, easy and delicious. These are all requirements when you work full time, have an adult child with disabilities in your home and are raising your grandchild. I can whip it together while I'm getting ready for work or church in the morning and take it with me. I took it once to a covered dish luncheon at work and now it's requested every time we have one. :o) People know what they like and they want more of it!
