Sugar Dusted Apple Bundt Cake
Depends on size of slice (12)
21 oz can lucky leaf premium apple pie filling
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan or bundt cake pan.
3In a small bowl mix together 2 TBSP sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle bottom and sides of pan
4Combine flour, salt, baking powder and 2 cups sugar in a large bowl. ( I combined with a whisk)
5Combine oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla in a separate bowl (again I used a whisk) (My change in instructions)
6Combine steps 4 and 5, mixing well. Then add the Apple pie filling (I think this would be good with peach pie filling or any other you might like) Stir well
7Pour batter evenly into the prepared pan
8Bake uncovered for 1 hour, let cool 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and cool. Drizzle with citrus glaze, or powdered sugar, if desired
9OPTIONAL GLAZE: Medium bowl, beat 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon orange juice for 1 minute or until smooth. Add additional juice by tsp if needed for consistency
