I just found this recipe on another site,it used raspberry jam but since i only had strawberry,i switched.I even added some coconut to the topping,white chocolate chips would be good also.Very easy to make and even though it's a coffee cake,i make it for after dinner dessert.:)
Combine flour and sugar.Cut in butter till crumbly.Remove 1 cup and reserve.To remaining crumbs add the sour cream,egg and almond extract,mix well.Spread in a greased 9" springform pan.
FILLING:Beat cream cheese,sugar and egg till blended.Pour over batter and spoon jam on top.Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.Bake 350 degrees 50 to 55 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes and remove from pan.ENJOY!
