My grandmother used to make similiar to this one and everyone loved it.

Ingredients

1 lb
butter at rm temperature
3 c
sugar
6 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanila extract
1 tsp
lemon extract
lemon zest, grated from one lemon
4 c
all purpose flour
1/3 c
milk

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 325. Mix butter on med-high speed until light and creamy. Add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each agg. Add extracts and blend, then add lemon zest. Reduce speedto low and gradually add the flour, mix until just combined. Add milk until smooth.
2Pour the batterinto greased pound cake pan. Bake until golden brownand tooth pick comes out clean. about 1 hr and 15 mins, ovens may very. Allow cake to cool in pan on a wire rack. Turn the cake out of the pan on to cake dish and allow to cool completely. ENJOY
