Sour Cream Banana Cake

This recipe IS from my
cousin Jerry Meyer wife Teri.
The recipe is easy to cut in half and bake in a 8x8 pan.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1 / 2 c
butter, room temperature

ripe bananas mashed

eggs
1 / 2 c
sour cream
1 / 2 c
cold water
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda

FROSTING

2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
4 Tbsp
butter
6 Tbsp
milk or cream
1 c
sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine

mix for 30 seconds
then beat for 2 minutes

put in a 9x13 pan

Bake 350* for 35 - 40 minutes

Let cake cool and frost

(easy to cut recipe in 1/2 and make 8X8 size)

Frosting

Bring to boil
brown sugar,
butter, milk or cream
remove from heat

add powdered sugar
and vanilla

Let frosting cool a little
then pour over cake

I added some walnuts to the top it's so good with a big glass of cold milk.
