1 can(s) room temperature soda, any flavor

This is the so simple and it really makes a moist cake!!

 

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°; Line muffin pan with liners.

In a medium bowl combine your soda and cake mix, stirring with a whisk until most of the lumps are gone. Fill each liner 1/2-2/3 full of batter.

Bake for 18-20 minutes until cupcakes are springy and toothpicks comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.

--Banana cake mix w/ diet root beer
--Lemon cake mix w/ diet 7-up
--Chocolate cake w/ Diet coke or cherry coke
--Lemon cake w/ Diet ginger ale
--Orange cake w/diet Mountain Dew
--Lemon cake w/ Diet Lemon lime
--Angel Food w/ Diet Orange
--White w/ Diet Orange
--Yellow cake w/ Diet orange
--White cake w/ Diet Peach
--White w/ diet ginger ale
--Chocolate cake w/ Diet cherry coke
--Devils food w/ diet vanilla coke
--Chocolate cake w/ root beer
--White cake mix w/ diet sprite
--Red Velvet w/ Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper
--Pineapple cake w/ diet Squirt

You can use any type of soda you wish. Diet just cuts the calories for those of trying to lose weight! :-)

This makes a really moist cake. I made yellow cake and diet cream soda. Yummy!

yes please let us know if you prepare the cake with the normal eggs, oil etc or do u omit them & replace with soda??? Please reply soon, i'd like to make this for an upcoming event! thanks

Hi, I'm not Star, but maybe I can help. You just use the dry mix & soda. It doesn't have to be diet soda, it can be regular soda too. Happy baking!!!!!!
