Sheila Bishops Neapolitan Cake

This recipe is so old. Sheila Bishop is a gal my mom used to work with at Raytheon in the 1960's. It's a great and easy recipe, too.
From my mom and her friend, and my old recipes.

Ingredients

1 duncan hines marble cake mix
1 small pkg. strawberry jell-o or any of your favorite flavors
1 envelope dream whip
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 t.. vanilla
1 1/2 cup cold milk.

Directions Step-By-Step

Bake according to cake mix directions in a 13 x 9" cake pan. After cake
cools, about 20 minutes, poke deep holes in top of cake with meat fork. Make
Jell-O using 3/4 cup hot water and 1/2 cup cold water. Cool Jell-O to room
temperature and pour over top of cake. Refrigerate until Jell-O sets, then
ice with the frosting ingredients.

Pour dream whip, pudding mix, vanilla and milk in chilled bowl. Whip until
stiff.
