Moist chocolate cake filled with a rich cream cheese and chocolate chip mixture and drizzled with chocolate icing!

Ingredients

CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE

1/2 c
sugar
1 tsp
vanilla
1 pkg
(8 oz) cream cheese
1
egg
1 pkg
(12 oz) chocolate chips (i use milk chocolate)

CAKE

2 c
sugar
1 c
oil
2
eggs
3 c
flour
3/4 c
unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
hot water
1 c
milk
1 Tbsp
cider vinegar
1 tsp
vanilla

ICING

1 c
powdered sugar
2 Tbsp
unsweetened cocoa
2 Tbsp
melted butter
2 tsp
vanilla
3-5 tsp
hot water, or until drizzle consistency

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a small bowl combine cream cheese mixture ingredients except chocolate chips until well blended, stir in chocolate chips

In a large bowl beat together all cake ingredients until well blended

Pour 1/2 the batter into a 10-inch greased tube pan, spoon cream cheese mixture over batter. Pour remaining batter over cream cheese mixture

bake 1 hr 15 min to 1 1/2 hrs

cool cake, remove from pan, mix together icing ingredients and drizzle over cake, Enjoy!!!

This is also fabulous in mini muffin cups. Just fill mini paper cups 3/4 full of batter, drop a 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cream cheese mixture in center of batter and bake
