1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. SPRAY 2 9 INCH CAKE PANS DUST WITH FLOUR. BEAT TOGETHER BUTTER AND SUGAR ON MED/HIGH SPEED UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD EGGS 1 AT A TIME. BEAT IN PUMPKIN UNTIL SMOOTH. COMBINE DRY INGREDIENTS, ADD TO SUGAR MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH MILK. SPOON EVENLY INTO CAKE PANS AND BAKE 22 TO 27 MINUTES.OR UNTIL A TOOTH PICK COMES OUT CLEAN.

2MAPLE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING....MAKES 4 1/2 CUPS. 12OZ. CREAM CHEESE,1/4 C.BUTTER SOFTENED,2T. MAPLE SYRUP,1/4 tsp.CINNAMON 41/2 C. POWDERED SUGAR.

3BEAT CREAM CHEESE AND BUTTER AT MED/HIGH SPEED UNTIL FLUFFY. REDUCE SPEED AND ADD SYRUP AND CINNAMON. GRADUALLY ADD POWDERED SUGAR UNTIL MIXTURE IS SMOOTH.
