Pistachio Cake with Butter Cream Frosting

I have been making this cake for over 30 years and it is one of my families favorite recipes.

Ingredients

1 box
yellow cake mix
4
eggs
1 box
instant pistachio pudding
1/2 c
vegetable oil
1 c
water

CAKE INGREDIENTS

BUTTER CREAM FROSTING

2 stick
room temperature butter
1 box
confectioners' sugar
1 tsp
vanilla
4 Tbsp
milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 10 inch tube pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl add cake mix,instant pudding, eggs, 1/2 cup oil and 1 cup of water. Beat with electric mixer for 3-4 minutes on medium. Pour into bundt pan. Bake for 55 minutes. Test with toothpick. When done place on cooling rack to cool completely. Turn onto a serving dish.

To make the frosting, add all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well. You can frost the cake when it has cooled or just serve a dollop on the side of a serving piece.
