The cake turned out really good. It kind of tasted like the pink lemon aid pie.

I made the cake for my granddaughters birthday today, that's what she wanted me to fix. The cake didn't raise like most cake's also it was not light like most cake's the topping came out just fine, but the topping is just as thick as the cake is. I am wondering if this is suppose to be more like a dessert? than a cake, or did I screw something up. We aren't eating it untill tonight, so don't know how it taste's.
