1lb unsalted butter 3 c sugar 8 eggs (seperate yolk from egg white) 1 tsp vanilla flavor 1 tsp orange extract 3 tsp pinapple flavoring 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 cup pinapple juice 3 1/2 cups cake flour 1 cup thin chopped pecans

Directions Step-By-Step

Cream all butter with 1 1/2 cup of sugar thoroughly until rich and creamy. Then add the seperated egg yolks 1 at a time for a thorough mix. Alternate by adding flour, flavoring and juice into cream mixture blending well. In seperate bowl beat egg whites on high speed until peaks form while gradually adding the remaining 1 1/2 cup of sugar. Take a large mixing spoon and fold egg sugar whites into cream mixture. Use butter to grease cake pan then cover greased lining with flour then sprinkle thin chopped pecans all over cake pan. Pour batter into pan. Cook medium heat about 300 degrees 1hr 45mnts
Pinapple-Orange Glaze
combined 1 cup of sugar with 1/2 cup pinapple juice & 1/2 cup of organge juice. bring to a boil stirring until sugar is dissolve. let cool - pour over cooled cake
