1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with bakers joy or grease and flour.
In a medium bowl, cream sugar with butter until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until thoroughly blended.
2Add sour cream and mix until thoroughly blended.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Beat flour mixture into the sour cream mixture until thoroughly mixed.
3Spread batter into prepared baking dish.
4Mix brown sugar with cinnamon and pecans.
Sprinkle evenly over batter. Using a knife, swirl sugar mixture with batter. Take 1 tablespoon of soft butter and pinch pieces off and evenly sprinkle over the top of cake.This is optional.
5Lay a piece of foil loosely over cake and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 - 15 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
6Cool on rack.
