Just created this recipe tonight. The house smelled like heaven and tummies were growling. Took 33 mins in 350 degree oven, cooled for 10 minutes and dug in.......OMG, only thing that could have made it better would be a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Spray 9x5x2 inch baking dish with cooking spray and dust with cocoa powder.
Melt butter, semi-sweet chocolate, and peanut butter over medium low heat, just until chocolate melts and remove from heat. (Stir occaisionally to prevent stick and scorch.)
While melting above ingredients, beat eggs in medium bowl until well blended.
Add sugar to eggs and blend well.
Stir in the vanilla flavoring and mix well.
Add flour and cocoa to egg mixture and blend well.
Pour the chocolate/butter mixture into the batter and blend well.
Pour into prepared baking dish, sprinkle with walnuts (walnuts can be added to the batter if preferred), and bake 25 to 35 minutes until done.
(Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving, 20 minutes is better.)
