1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using electric mixer, whip first six ingredients together for three minutes.
2Spray a Bundt pan with vegetable spray. Sprinkle the package of pecan pieces into bottom of pan evenly. Pour cake batter into pan on top of nuts.
3Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
4While cake is baking, prepare last four ingredients in a small sauce pan. First melt sick of butter, stir in sugar, OJ, and water. Bring to a boil for three minutes while stirring.
5When cake is done, invert and turn out onto a cake or serving piece with a lip. Poke holes around sides and top of cake with fork. Slowly pour prepared glaze from saucepan over top of cake Allow cake to set and absorb liquid glaze before serving. I like to let mine set covered overnight.
