Crystal's Story

love this cake its pretty simple to make and the frosting taste a lot like orange sherbet get a lot of complements on it


1 box
lemon cake mix
1 pkg
unsweetened orange kool-aid mix
as many eggs called for on cake mix directions
as much oil called for on cake mix directions
1 large pkg
orange jello
1 large pkg
orange jello
1 large pkg
vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 c
cold milk
1 8 oz
container cool whip

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven at 350 degrees
In a mixing bowl mix packet of orange Kool-Aid mix into lemon cake mix prepare cake mix following package directions for 9x13 inch cake directions
After baking the cake poke holes using wooden spoon into baked cake
prepare i package of the Orange Jello according to package directions and pour over cake allowing to saok in
While letting jello to soak into cake prepare frosting
in a small bowl mix package Orange Jello and vanilla Pudding mix with 1/2 cup cold milk mix well allow to stand for about 5 minutes then fold in Cool Whip until well incorporated then frost cooled cake
best if let chilled overnight but at least about 4 hours
refridgerate any leftovers

I made this for dessert tonight, and it was fantastic what a great cake for spring/summer I cant wait to make it again. In fact I think I will go have a piece as a midnight snack.:) Thanks for the great recipe!

This is sooooooo yummy!! I substituted the "orange" with "lime" for a change. It turned out great and it was just as yummy!!!
