granulated sugar

baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1/2 c
crisco oil

egg yolks
3/4 c
cold water
2 Tbsp
grated orange peel
1 c
egg whites (7-8)
1/2 tsp
cream of tartar

BAKE FOR: 75 MINS.
2STIR THE FOLLOWING INGREDS. TOGETHER:
FLOUR, SUGAR, B. POWDER, SALT.
MAKE A WELL & ADD IN ORDER:
OIL, EGG YOLKS, WATER & ORANGE PEEL
STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. MEASURE EGG WHITES & CRM OF TARTAR INTO LG. MIXING BOWL. BEAT UNTIL VERY STIFF PEAKS FORM.
GRADUALLY POUR EGG YOLK MIXTURE OVER BEATEN EGG WHITES, GENTLY FOLD JUST UNTIL BLENDED.
3POUR INTO GREASED & FLOURED TUBE PAN
