Heat oven to 325F. Lightly grease & flour 2 loaf pans.
In saucepan boil the first 4 ingredients.
In medium bowl sift together the next 6 ingredients.
After the liquid has fully cooled, add to dry ingredients & mix well.
Add in the raisins. Make sure not to over brown the top of cake.
bake for 30 to 3 mins. Cool on wore rack.
